Brian Williams has 21 years of basketball coaching experience--all in the state of Indiana—5th grade (1 year), 7th grade (1), 8th grade (1), 9th grade (3), Varsity (11 assistant, 4 head coach)—in three school systems—Crawfordsville, Goshen, and Winamac (Eastern Pulaski Schools). |
While in Goshen, he assisted Coach Mike Sorrell whose 413 varsity wins rank him 50th all time in the storied history of Indiana High School Boys Basketball. Coach Williams served as an assistant coach for the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Wendy’s Classic Indiana High School All-Star team.
Coach Williams was proud that through the efforts of his first team at Winamac he was named 1999-2000 Midwest Conference Coach of the Year. He has been a part of four sectional championship teams, two as an assistant and two as head coach. In addition to coaching and teaching, Brian served as an Athletic Director for five years.
Brian is currently the Director of Marketing and IT for Alodia Basketball Academy, and is a partner with Coach Josh Stinson in Hoopclinics and Coaches Academy. Other partners in Coaches Acdemy are Coach April (McDivitt ) Foster and Coach Ed Schilling.
Brian is married to the former Mandy Grahn.
