When ball is handed to #3,
#5 slides hard out toward the sideline.
If #5 is open, #3 inbounds the ball to him.
If #5 is not open, #3 will inbound the ball to #1,
who has used a screen by #2 to
free himself.
Upon making the inbound pass, #3 steps inbounds
and "puts his head in the
basket."
#3 has his choice of cutting to the back side or
cutting off a screen on the ball
side set by #5.
The ball is swung to the back side if #3 cuts there.
#4 screens the outside defender on the baseline
of the zone and then posts up.
#5 screens in and then flashes into the middle
if #3 goes away from him.
#2 can throw into #5, to #3 in the corner,
or to #4 slipping the screen.
If #3 decides to go to the strongside,
#5 will screen in and post.
#4 will flash into the middle looking for
a pass from #1.
#1 can throw down to #3 in the corner,
to #5 slipping the screen, or to #4
flashing
into the middle of the defense.
If #1 would pass to #2, #2 could go back to #1,
or throw over the top to #3 in
the corner.
