Here is an idea for an end of the quarter play to get the last shot of the quarter. It was run very successfully for many years by Plymouth (Indiana) High School and Hall of Fame Coach Jack Edison. It fit their personnel very well over the years and hopefully it might fit yours.
#3 should be your best driver and has the opportunity as the flare screens are taking place to drive with the floor spread and the defenders on both sides playing those screens.
#2 and #1 both have opporunities for a catch and a three point shot as well as an opporunity to drive baseline.
As with any time you set flare screens, #4 and #5 have slip opportunities.
I am not sure what their philosophy was on when to take the last shot, but we like to take it with 5 seconds to go in the first, second, and third quarters to allow time for an offensive rebound and put back, but not enough time for the defense to rebound and get a good shot.
Diagrams of Man to Man Plays
These plays are diagrams of some of the set plays that we have posted.
Power is a diagram (not an animation) of box set play.
Cincy is effective against either a zone or a man to man defense.
Wake Forest is similar to our Kentucky play, but with a few more options late in the play.
