He was good to everybody, had time for everybody ,
and has had a tremendous influence on the game
of basketball ... The game of basketball has
lost a great friend. "

Basketball Coaching DVDs

Shane Battier Taking the Charge

We would only change and add two basketball coaching points to this video to make it more applicable to players that do not compete at the professional level. There is no cirlce that you must be in front of at the younger levels for basketball, however, it has been our experience that you are not likely to get a call if you are underneath the basket. So, even though the ring does not exist, you still need to get out in front as if there were a ring. Second, when you do take the hit, Shane mentioned landing on your rear end. It is also important to keep your hands up and not use them to brace your fall. Falling on your hands can result in broken fingers or wrists.

We are going to add new videos (at least new to our site) of these great NBA stars offering tips on how to play basketball.

We have alreday posted these great NBA stars offering tips on how to play basketball:

Dwight Howard on Rebounding

All of these videos are from the TNT series NBA Fundamentals.
